One of the reasons I've been somewhat away from the posting scene here on DA is due to the fact that I'm currently living in Japan, away from any decent scanner or camera for my traditional artwork. The camera on my phone can take some decent photos, but my hands typically aren't still enough to get a good shot on my drawings. I've also recently discovered that my lovely, custom built laptop Vaio doesn't have enough RAM/Memory to run my art program and my tablet driver together, which frequently results in Adobe Photoshop crashing and loosing what small amounts of work I've made progress in. Frustrated, I've given up on the digital art for now until I can get the problem resolved (hopefully monday).

In addition, I'm trying my hand at college classes again. While I passed alright last semester, I have the added stress of dealing with financial aide and student loans, and I'm trying hard not to question why I'm attempting college again, other than the slightest possiblity of a bigger paycheck afterwards... assuming that anyone is hiring for the fields I'm currently looking at for my major(s). Between homework, the comic I often times end up staring at blank pages I'm trying to draw, running a DnD campaign which is the story for that comic, and my single day off on the weekends that I should be doing the homework things on, I don't have a lot of time.

This does, however, make me sad that my dA account has essentially ground to a quiet lurking account with the occasional updates from artists I watch filtering my home page-message inbox on dA. To say I haven't noticed people upload things (for those that I watch and watch me back), I often don't spend a long time looking at galleries and whatnot, but new stuff does occasionally get seen and appreciated, even if I don't spend the effort to comment. I am, indeed, still lurking.

That's most of the news on my front at the moment. :/ Maybe I'll get around to posting more after my laptop gets a small upgrade for that memory space.

So, tried the livestreams yesterday. That was... fun?
Hopefully going to do so again to finish up colors on what I was working on tonight. I'll reupdate here when I decide the time and post a link.

Update: I will be trying to do a livestream event from 10:30-1pm tomorrow. We will see how well the internet connection at school will allow this to happen. If it works, I may be doing this more frequently on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Debating how far I can get on this comic thing before I fail to resist the urge to start posting the pages somewhere; and on which account. SDGF-DAREProject really should be more active then it has been, at the same time, I don't want to accumulate massive unfinished projects. x.o Current "comic" I'm working on is Project Storm, which is the story of Verra de Lacroa & Hyperion Dante, but again, not sure how far I'd get before I catch up to myself and stop working on it. ._.;

Setting that aside, I've been working on a lot of different artwork pieces in my sketchbook (and on that Project Storm comic!), and I am going to be attempting to scan (or take a picture & re-line it digitally) and color it on my computer before uploading them. For the most part it's new character concepts for the Fate of Gundaria RPG/comic, but the three characters I have drawn out look pretty cool. Hopefully it won't take me too long to do that, so yall can see. :3
