For the most part, my artwork consists of SD Gundam Force and Okami fanart. I also have art for the Fate of Gundaria RPG with my friends in my gallery, concept art for a SD Gundam D&D game that I want to turn into a comic, as well as some not-fandom stuff.

One of the reasons I've been somewhat away from the posting scene here on DA is due to the fact that I'm currently living in Japan, away from any decent scanner or camera for my traditional artwork. The camera on my phone can take some decent photos, but my hands typically aren't still enough to get a good shot on my drawings. I've also recently discovered that my lovely, custom built laptop Vaio doesn't have enough RAM/Memory to run my art program and my tablet driver together, which frequently results in Adobe Photoshop crashing and loosing what small amounts of work I've made progress in. Frustrated, I've given up on the digital art for now until I can get the problem resolved (hopefully monday).

In addition, I'm trying my hand at college classes again. While I passed alright last semester, I have the added stress of dealing with financial aide and student loans, and I'm trying hard not to question why I'm attempting college again, other than the slightest possiblity of a bigger paycheck afterwards... assuming that anyone is hiring for the fields I'm currently looking at for my major(s). Between homework, the comic I often times end up staring at blank pages I'm trying to draw, running a DnD campaign which is the story for that comic, and my single day off on the weekends that I should be doing the homework things on, I don't have a lot of time.

This does, however, make me sad that my dA account has essentially ground to a quiet lurking account with the occasional updates from artists I watch filtering my home page-message inbox on dA. To say I haven't noticed people upload things (for those that I watch and watch me back), I often don't spend a long time looking at galleries and whatnot, but new stuff does occasionally get seen and appreciated, even if I don't spend the effort to comment. I am, indeed, still lurking.

That's most of the news on my front at the moment. :/ Maybe I'll get around to posting more after my laptop gets a small upgrade for that memory space.

This is my main Fandom account on DA. I also have SDGF-DAREProject ("pro"-digital SD Gundam artwork & comics) and kodai-no-haikyo (non-anime & lit). My main fan-comic is based off of a script that has been collaborated, written, and roleplayed since 2005 with dedicated Superior Defender Gundam Force fans, the imaginative, and the curious. The beginnings of it can be found on the website, found somewhere below.

But you're still posting artwork, right?  As long as you are still active and drawing what you love, I'm perfectly fine by it.

Depends on how wide-spread you want it.  Honestly the Super Dimensional Guard (And the Gundam Force) could potentially go anywhere, it'd depend more on the reason they would be attempting to do so for.

On the flip side, if you don't have a second universe/dimension (and henceforth, series) to cross with in mind, I wonder if it's really even worth the effort. Without some idea in mind, you have nothing to work on, and nothing to head toward. Finding an ending point in any story is coincidently, a reasonable place to start when/if writing or planning anything. Then consider whether or not, if you're doing a crossover, if the characters you're using would even work together to accomplish anything. If there's an individual that simply, absolutely won't get along with another personality, while that can make a great plot problem in some cases, it can also mean that it isn't going to work and literally end disasterously.

If I were to do a crossover, I'd stick with series's that wouldn't completely break each other's thought processes on their view of the world, and still conceivibly happen; however I would also use a series I am well familiar with, and spend a decent amount of time refreshing details or researching important events to both. Study characters closely, until you have a feel for what drives them to do something, and a grasp on their mentality to accurately portray them in any setting.

For me personally, it'd probably be SD Gundam and Transformers, since both have factions that can time travel, travel through space, and (in a way) dimensionally travel. It's not impossible to say that (if I were using SD: Gundam Force) that General Zeong was an experiment made by the Decepticon scientist Shockwave, and sent off into it's own dimension for one reason or another. This drive (and possible hatred towards any mechanical good entity, or programmed to wreck chaos) is what caused "General" Zeong to seek out a way to completely and utterly destroy the entire multiverse by using whatever is necessary. To that end, Optimus Prime could easily send a team (or go himself) to find this experiment and make sure it causes no harm. Or, perhaps information involving the General comes to light with the rediscovery of the Dark Axis base being something from Cybertron's moons, and the Gundam Force heads out to find out if there are more things like Zeong to threaten the universe. Or perhaps GP04's mission hadn't gone so awry as orignially thought, surviving his "destruction" by Zeong and being sent to the universe that Cybertron resides in, and now seeks to find a way back home to Neotopia, either before Transformers have thought about attempting Space Bridges, or have lost the techniques used to build them during the war.

The list could go on for ages. :XD: But again, it really depends on what all you know best. My advice would be to find a series you enjoy, one you're passionate about, or simply have watched enough times to know inside and out. (which is my case with SD Gundam, and curiosity about Transformers and other Gundam series' have made me seek out the differences between even sub-series. Those are just as fun to combine into "crossovers", though its more of a merging between two stories at that point.)
